tumbleweeds
I haven't had time in the past month to pop on and log things, how crazy!!I have managed to only crack on with two extra shoots due to full time work and lots of tired nights on the sofa.Last week (27th) I had the chance to work with Montana Lowery (http://www.outburstphotography.com/) on her project. It involved a lot of set-building;I don't know how the frig she managed to find all these crazy vintage pieces of furniture...including a hair dryer that weighed as much as an electric drill and looked like some sort of utility machine;-)
It was such a big operation that she had the whole family down (clearly a family of creatives, her ma was doing the hair and knocked up a few dresses) and some assistants bumming around, even models arriving from Newcastle. The concept was avant-garde come vintage housewife so we had some very simple defined makeup looks and changed the lip for every outfit. I was happy with the outcome as Montana is a brilliant tog, however I don't think it pushed the boat out for me creatively.Lucky the model was so bloody gorgeous!!!It was so fun and well,I noshed on a krisy kreme (part of the set ha) so all in a few days work pretty good!
